Erie County Clerk Michael Kearns will again honor veterans that have received the Purple Heart by adding their names to the William J. Donovan Purple Heart Recipients Book of Merit.
Kearns is asking veterans or surviving family members of veterans who were awarded the Purple Heart to submit their request to his office by July 29 in order to be added to the 2022 edition and be part of this year’s ceremony.
