Courts Dismiss Teacher’s $3.2 Million Lawsuit Against School

The courts have ruled against a former East Aurora teacher and his case seeking $3.2 million in damages from the school district. 

Last week, Supreme Court Justice E. Jeannette Ogden dismissed the case brought forward by Colin Shoemaker. Shoemaker filed the lawsuit in November against the East Aurora Union Free School District and the East Aurora Faculty Association, claiming negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract by those entities.
