For this week, the newspaper asked candidates for the East Aurora school board to fill out responses to six questions. These were sent out last week and the candidates were asked to keep each answer under 200 words.
There is no cost to the candidates to have these published, and answers have not been edited by the newspaper. The vote for school board candidates is May 18, the same vote as the annual school budget proposition. It is in the East Aurora Middle School Cafeteria at 430 Main Street from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In East Aurora, three people are seeking two open seats. This includes incumbent Kimberlee Danieu, as well as Joe Cassidy and Deb Chmielowiec.
