EMW Celebrates Golden Anniversary

The Boys & Girls Club of Elma, Marilla & Wales (EMW), located on Girdle Road in Elma, recently celebrated its 50th anniversary during an annual dinner on Jan. 27.

The evening included inducting three people to the wall of fame: Shirley Schildkamp, Jim Coatsworth and Michael “Weeze” Holcomb. Senator Patrick Gallivan presented club leaders with a proclamation and there was a table at the event filled with thank you cards from current club members for guests to take home.
