Federal Funding Helping Marilla Fire Company’s Operations

There is a lot to be grateful for at the Marilla Fire Company.

A cross-town paid ambulance service has increased safety and reduced the response time for emergency calls. Federal grants have brought in new equipment and updated the grounds, and plans are in the works to celebrate the 100th anniversary in 2023.

“Everything is falling into place,” Fire Chief Brad Wurthner said.
