Gun Club Hours Extension Passes, Then Fails; Marilla Board Cannot Reconsider Issue Until January

An attempt to add shooting hours for a gun club in the Town of Marilla must wait.  

Town Board members approved a proposal 3-2 to give 12 more shooting hours per week to the Allied Sportsmen of Western New York the night of Thursday, May 11, but were informed a day later the measure cannot stand.  

Councilman Brian Nolan motioned to give the club four daylight hours each day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to reschedule rained-out competitions.
