Larger than Life: Harold LeRoy Olmsted at Meibohms

Harold LeRoy Olmsted was an artist, architect, landscape designer and teacher who first resided in Buffalo, and then Springville/Sardinia until his death in 1972. Through the course of his life, he would work in and around Western New York, responsible for both designing homes still listed on the National Historic Register and for a trove of paintings and sketches that he often lent but never sold, instead preferring to hold on to his work, considering them his “journal.”
