Almost 20 years ago, our community rallied around in record numbers to Save The Chief, the honored symbol of the Iroquois Central School District. As you may know, this entire geographical region is from the Iroquois Confederacy, hence the name of the school district. At that time, the School Board agreed with the community that our Chief was a symbol of honor, respect and reverence.
