Obituary: A. Ernst Müllerschön, Devoted Father

A. Ernst Müllerschön of Elma, formerly of Raidwangen, Germany, died on Friday, October 14. He was 95.

Known by many as Ernie, Mr. Müllerschön was a German Army veteran of WWII. He immigrated to the USA in 1949. Between 1950 and 1952, he served in the American Army in Korea, attaining the rank of sergeant.

In 1955, he started working for Krug’s Sausage and Meats, retiring in 1993. He was also active in the German-American Community, a lifetime member of the Spring Garden Association, the Buffalo Schwaben Vereine and Chor, and at times serving as president, treasurer and director of the boards. 

Mr. Müllerschön was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and served as a trustee. 

He had a love for animals, especially dogs and horses.

Mr. Müllerschön was predeceased by his wife Ruth (nee Krug) Müllerschön; 

He is survived by his son Frank M. Müllerschön and by cousins, nieces and nephews. 

A funeral service was held on Wed., Oct. 19th at Faith Lutheran Church.
