Removal Sought of Elected Board Member Over Oath of Office Concerns

A school board member and the school district were recently presented with a notice of default, in which the petitioner of the notice is demanding that a veteran board member be removed. 

The notice says that following board member Daniel Brunson's re-election in 2020, he was not properly administered the oath of office. The notice claims that since it was administered by a district employee who is not qualified for this duty, the board should remove him of his responsibilities.
