Town Debates Possible Use of Federal Funds


With almost $800,000 in federal relief funds coming to the Town of Aurora, discussions continue for how to best spend the money. 

This money is from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, which can be used for a range of items that would “maintain vital public services, even amid declines in revenue” resulting from the pandemic and “build a strong, resilient, and equitable recovery by making investments that support long-term growth and opportunity.” These are items listed on U.S. Department o...
