Time is running out to order tree and shrub seedlings through Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District’s 2021 Conservation Tree and Shrub Seedling Program. The bare-root plants are sold in pre-packaged bundles of various sizes and seedling sampler packs are available for attracting songbirds, butterflies and wildlife.

The Iroquois Budget will aim to to keep its tax levy increase at the state property tax cap limit. Superintendent Douglas Scofield says the school board should not expect that revenue to be covered in full by future adjustments to the New York State budget or from the federal government.
