Apartments for Adults with Disabilities Approved at Gleed Avenue

The Village Board of East Aurora approved plans for 24 apartment units at 300 Gleed Ave. These market rate apartments would be targeted to adults with developmental disabilities to live independently, meaning that plans to convert a 15,000 square foot warehouse space at the rear of the property into apartments can proceed to the next phase of planning.

Consecutive Victories Follow Early Season Loss for Boys Soccer

After losing their opener, 2-1, in overtime at Sweet Home, the Blue Devils have won their last three, with dominating victories over Pioneer, 7-0, Lake Shore, 10-0, and setting up a showdown with last year’s top Small School team, Nichols. They are also the defending champs in the difficult MMAA league.  They play St. Francis on Sept. 17.
