In the second of the series sharing our progress on the “Advertiser Garden,” an experiment in communal gardening, where we try to turn the small patch of land located outside our rear entrance on Persons Alley into a green space, we share our staff picks and our garden plan. Companion planting and using vertical growing plans are great ways to make use of a small space.

Letter to the Editor: Flynn Would be Great on Village Board
Dear Editor, As a Past Chairman of the East Aurora Zoning Board of Appeals, I would encourage the Village voters in Tuesday’s election for Trustee to vote for Molly Flynn. Letter to the Editor: Comparing Presidents Shows Problems of the Past
Dear Editor, To be honest, I find most, if not all, Presidents to be disappointing. While President Biden is not an exceptional orator like President Obama, for a supporter of the 45th POTUS to critique President Biden’s mumbling and incoherence goes beyond the pale. 45 is a walking word salad and is almost never coherent; except when he mocks a […]

Letter to the Editor: Not Attending County Fair This Year
Dear Editor, As both a Purple Heart Veteran and a volunteer firefighter, I have always enjoyed attending the Erie County Fair on those days when they honored both those groups. I looked forward to seeing friends from both near and far as we gathered together in a spirit of brotherhood. For many years the fair has allowed these two groups […]

Dear Editor, As a West Falls resident, I am unable to vote in the upcoming village election. With that said, I am compelled to write and encourage village residents to vote for Katherine “Grace” Viger in the March 15 election. I grew up with Grace in East Aurora and feel strongly that she is the best candidate to continue to […]
