The New York Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation reminds snowmobilers to ride responsibly and put safety first as they enjoy winter snowmobiling. Safety courses are available, and trail conditions are available online, and through local clubs.

Snowmobilers Can Renew Sled Registration in Erie County

The Erie County Clerk’s office requests that snowmobilers register their sleds and trailers directly through the Erie County Auto Bureau in an effort to retain registration revenues within Erie County.  Same or next day appointments are currently available at all branches.

Smith Leaves Impressive Legacy With Land Conservancy

Since joining the conservancy as a part-time community outreach worker in 2004, Nancy Smith has guided the organization from helping individual land owners secure easements to preserving several several thousand acres of local preserve and farmland and revitalizing the Niagara Corridor and Buffalo River through the Highline Project. She will step down in 2023 after 18 years of crusading for WNY woodlands and wild spaces.
