Council Members Rickey Venditti and Jeff Gawronski have pushed back on allowing the SUP to be amended, stating that the business violates certain codes. An October court case regarding the matter was dismissed without prejudice.

There’s a plan for expansion in place for Auctions International, Inc., provided that two requests be approved in the coming months.
A special use permit (SUP) application for Auctions International expansion has been referred to the Wales ZBA to clarify whether the new square foot for the “facility” as defined within the town code would be in compliance with ordinances.
Auctions International was the topic in the most recent Town of Wales meeting. The board voted to allow the business to build five new structures on site and to allow for the sale of existing topsoil, but tabled an additional request for more information.
