In recent data released by the Erie County Department of Health, the underlying cause of all of recent deaths from COVID-19 is not completing the vaccine regimen. The county has started to see a higher percentage of people test positive for the disease in recent weeks, and the area is now considered a “substantial risk” for transmission, an elevation over “moderate.”
