The reserve fund was created in 2012 by a previous board. Its discovery was prompted by a council member’s suggestion that a reserve be created to help resolve the stalled proposal for the Marilla Historical Society last month.

Marilla Historical Society Upgrades Still on Hold

Funding is available for construction but the project has stalled, with the supervisor citing concerns about future economy as his main reason for the delay.
