In partnership with Erie County Parks, the first-ever “Discover Emery Park” event will be hosted on Saturday, Aug. 14. This event is also part of the Erie County Bicentennial celebration. Proceeds from this event will be donated to Erie County Parks for their continued improvement of the park system.

Vandalism at Emery Park Leads to Damages at Ski Lodge
The Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry reports that vandals considerable damage to the park’s Ski Lodge and Field Housedamaged, leading to clean up costs of nearly $31,000. The doors on both facilities will need to be replaced and all fire extinguishers replaced.
Inclusive Playground to be Added to Emery Park
Emery Park will receive funding for a new inclusive playground, as part of a larger inclusive playground project that includes $2.1 million to cover work at five parks: Emery, Chestnut Ridge, Como Lake, Akron Falls, and Ellicott Creek parks.
