Bookworm Wins Industry Grant for Store Improvements
Thanks to a grant from the Book Industries Charitable Foundation, the Bookworm will soon see a new parking lot and some fresh landscaping, in addition to other infrastructure improvements, such as a new point-of-sale system.


Outreach Center Receives Grant to Support Anti-Poverty Programs
The Rural Outreach Center (ROC) in East Aurora, a nonprofit organization focused on breaking the cycle of rural poverty by accompanying people to self-sufficiency, has received a grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation which will be used to enhance data collection, expand its model of care and further develop the model of care so that it can be replicated, in some form, in areas around WNY as part of the organization’s mission to fight rural poverty.
