The Town of Aurora announced yesterday that they have been the recipient of a $1.6 million state grant that will make two much-needed culvert bridge projects possible in the years ahead.

Outreach Center Receives Grant to Support Anti-Poverty Programs

The Rural Outreach Center (ROC) in East Aurora, a nonprofit organization focused on breaking the cycle of rural poverty by accompanying people to self-sufficiency, has received a grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation which will be used to enhance data collection, expand its model of care and further develop the model of care so that it can be replicated, in some form, in areas around WNY as part of the organization’s mission to fight rural poverty.
