Final Highway Garage Costs Come in Higher than Original Bids
Following several construction delays and efforts to withhold payments until issues were repaired, the Town of Elma has paid all vendors for work on the new highway garage, at a cost $4,675,157; $647,000 higher than originally approved in May of 2018. New Track for Hamlin Park to Open by June
Work started this week to install a new, half-mile track that is 8-feet wide at Hamlin Park, and improvements to the baseball diamond mean that Baseball will be returning to Hamlin, a measure that was voted and approved by the board at their meeting May 3.
