Begun in East Aurora, Providence Farm provides immigrant and underserved urban populations with an opportunity to farm and provide fresh produce and traditional foods at little or no cost for their communities. On Thursday, May 20, the EA Co-op presented Providence Farm Collective’s (PFC) farm mentor Mahamud Mberwa with the proceeds of a fundraiser held in April to mark the fourth anniversary of the operation’s beginning.
