Rick Ohler sits down with Borderland Music + Arts Festival organizer Jennifer Brazill for a behind the scenes look at the staggering work that goes into making this come to life.
The inaugural “Howl in the Hills” festival will be held on the grounds of Holland Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 4. This new festival will merge country vibes with outdoor activities including axe throwing and wood carving, as well as open-air vendors.
After last year’s cancellation because of the pandemic, this year will see the festival return to host more than 20 bands on three stages with a diverse mix of national and regional, rock, country, Americana and roots artists.
Town officials discussed parking and traffic management in and around Knox Farm State Park with the organizers of the Borderland Music Festival, which will proceed as planned with an anticipated attendance of approximately 11,000 throughout the course of the Sept 18/19 weekend.
Borderland is working closely with New York State and Erie County to comply with all COVID guidelines. The music festival returns to Knox Farm State Park September 18, 2021.
