The Village of East Aurora Board left the public hearing open regarding the proposed subdivision on Walnut Street after hearing from neighbors in the area and plans by the developer to manage possible flooding. They will continue to investigate the drainage concerns raised by residents.

After several months of postponing a decision, local resident Britt Donnolly has been appointed to fill the vacancy at the Wales Planning Board, in a vote of 4-0.

The vacancy at the Town of Wales advisory board will remain unfilled while the board interviews new interested applicants, following a motion to table the appointment of a candidate earlier this year due to concerns over a possible conflict of interest. Council Member Butcher says he hopes to screen the applicants’ qualifications through a committee process in concert with the planning board.
