Recent discoveries surrounding the voting records of East Aurora School Board candidate Teresa Reile prompted an investigation by the district into whether she met the qualifications to be on the ballot next week. Following the investigation, she withdrew from the election.
The two platforms for the East Aurora School Board elections next week have amassed a total of $8,000 collectively, and officials at the ECASB indicate this trend is one shared by other districts, as well as increased enrollment in education designed to help citizens understand school board involvement.
