Beginning this fall, East Aurora hopes to be able to offer universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) as an option to students who are 4-years-old residing in the district. This program would run full-time five days a week. It would be federally funded and it would align with the current kindergarten curriculum.  The district is planning on opening this program to up to 54 students, which is approximately half of the average size kindergarten.
