Turkey Causes Damage After Entering Elma Home

An Elma woman investigating a large bang and crash from her upstairs bedroom discovered a turkey had burst through a glass window into her home. The woman confined the bird to an upstairs bathroom by closing the door and contacted authorities, prompting assistance from the DEC.

Village Approves New Ambulance Contract

The Village Board of East Aurora approved a new ambulance contract earlier in the week. It continues services with the current organization but is an updated agreement to adjust for price increases. The village has also contracted with a consultant to mitigate issues with an invasive deer population.
